Police ID body found in vacant lot

Houston police have identified a woman found dead in a vacant lot on Tremont Street on May 21.

A worker was in the process of bulldozing the vacant lot when he found Sherry Johnson's nude body, lying face down.
Johnson, 45, suffered wounds to her upper torso.
Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to contact HPD Homicide at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
