Man charged in Hitchcock fair stabbings

A weekend of violence at the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo culminated Thursday with a Texas City man's arrest in connection with a triple stabbing outside the fairgrounds.

Hitchcock police charged Robert Jacob Lopez, 20, with aggravated robbery and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, said detective LaDonna Sauceda.

Lopez's bond was set at $450,000.
