It staretd around 11:45 p.m. at Paul Quinn at Bersey when the officer tried to pull over a Ford Thunderbird for traffic violations.
The man took off, driving through a front yard and eventually into a muddy field, where he bailed out of the car.
The sergeant arrived and used the device to spot the suspect, who stood up and surrendered.
He was arrested.
