Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 5600 block of Royal Palms Saturday.
Brandon Thomas Rem, 23, suffered a gunshot wound to the torso around 8:40 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rem was reportedly involved in a verbal fight with the suspect before the shooting. The suspect left and retuned with a handgun. The confrontation continued and Rem was shot.
The suspect fled the scene.
He is described as a black male between 20-25 years old and was wearing a dark blue jacket and black pants.
