Driver leads HPD on short chase

A driver led police on a chase in the northwest Houston and Harris County area early Sunday morning.

It started around 2 a.m. as the driver went outbound on Highway 290. Then he made a U-turn at Mason.
He eventually stopped at Highway 290 and Telge around 2:20 a.m.
