Man shot in his apartment dies at the hospital

A man who was shot several times in his southeast Houston apartment has died at the hospital.

Around 9 p.m., residents of the Lakeshire Apartments heard gunshots.
Witnesses said they saw a man running from the scene. The victim was found in his apartment.
He was transported to Memorial Southeast Hospital, where he later died.
