One in custody after short chase through Club Creek

One man is in custody after a short chase through the Club Creek area late Monday night.

It started around 11:30 p.m. when an HPD officer noticed a suspicious SUV. The officer ran the plates, and the report came back stolen.
The suspect in the SUV drove down Club Creek until he got to the condos, where he bailed out and jumped a fence, HPD said.
The suspect was arrested and faces felony evading charges as well as an unauthorized used of a motor vehicle charge.
