HPD described the man as a black male in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He has short black hair.

Victims told police the attacker speaks broken Spanish to make his demands and wears glasses.

The suspect is wanted in three incidents:

•Dec. 13, 2006 in the 5900 block of Bissonnet around 6:25 p.m.

•Jan. 4 at 5909 Fondren at about 4:10 p.m.

•Jan. 12 at 5840 Glenmont at about 2:05 p.m.

Investigators said in all incidents, the suspect knocks on the doors of women alone with small children. He speaks broken Spainsh, then asks for a pen and paper to write on or for a person the victim doesn't know.

He forces his way into the apartment, pulls out a gun and demands money. When the comply, he sexually assaults them in a bedroom. Police said he wears a condom that he brings with him.

The suspect then tells the victim to stay in the bedroom or in a closet.

In two of the cases, small children who were present were put into a different bedroom.

"We don't want to take that chance that there might be another one," HPD Officer Pedro Moreno said. "Obviously we all know it's not going to stop. Doing this, he's not gonna stop."
