The question is if it will clear out in time for the Monday morning commute. I'll have m... The cold air remains trapped to our north. Dewpoints will be in the 40s to low 50s today. Definitely a gorgeou... Spotty showers have developed to the West of metro New Orleans this morning. A line of heavy rain and thunderstorms is moving ahead of the cold front and is expected to push through the metro area from 3pm until around 7pm. Although it will be breezy and cool Friday night, temperatures wi... Another cold front is passing through the area tonight. Expect beautiful blue sky today... and temperatures in the 70s, but with strong winds, it may feel a little cooler. With a second cold front passing through, temperatures tomorrow will drop to the 60s. Then, Monday night, we may have record lows across the area, including patchy... Temperatures soared yesterday to the upper 80s. Today, a strong cold front has moved through the region, and cooler temps will prevail today. Expect afternoon highs in the low 70s. A lot of important events and festivals this weekend. The good news is the forecast this weekend lookS great -- once we get past Friday. Lots of moisture and warm temperatures this afternoon will allow isolated thunderstorms to develop. This means you could have a heavy thunderstorm develop in your neighborhood... but 10 miles down the road... you'll be fine. However, around 7pm tonight, it looks like the activity could get a little heavier as... Gorgeous blue sky this Sunday after a day of overcast skies. Temperatures will warm to the upper 70s. Expect a mixture of sun and clouds Sunday, but much milder in comparison to Saturday. Event Rainfall Totals: A cloudy and cool Saturday forecast with afternoon temperatures struggling to reach the 70s. A cold front moved through in the overnight hours with tremendous lightning and consequently thunder, but no real reports of damage.
