It will be dry for most of the week with the 1st chance for rain will be Friday at 10%. Low humidity will stick around until Thursday with it will increase.

Overnight/Tuesday morning, lows will be chilly mid 40s north of the lake and cool 50s south of the lake with clear skies.

Tuesday afternoon, breezy and nice. Highs in the upper 70s. Our normal high for this time of year is 79 degrees.

A strong E/SE flow will cause tides to run 1-2' above normal along the coast and the lakes on Friday. Some minor flooding is possible.

There is a 40% chance for a few scattered showers or thunderstorms on Friday with highs in the mid to upper 70s and more humid conditions. Winds will be E/SE 15-30 mph.

Thursday will be nice as well. A chilly start north of the lake in the upper 40s and south of the lake cool 50s. Humidity levels will still be comfortable. Highs will be in the mid 70s.

Humidity levels go up a bit on Friday with 50s in the morning and mid 70s in the afternoon. Chance for rain Friday 30%.

Cool overnight temperatures with lows Thursday morning in the 50s on both sides of the lake. Warmer and Windy for Thursday with highs in the upper 70s and only a 10% chance for a shower. It will be more humid too.

Protect plants, pets, and people north of the lake. Lows will be in the low 30s. South of the lake no freeze expected with lows in upper 30s to low 40s. Wind chills overnight will feel like 20s north of the lake and 30s south of the lake.

Sunshine and cool for Tuesday. Highs in the low 60s, but it will feel like 50s.

Sunday's highs may be near record levels in the mid 80s. The record for Kenner is 86 and for Audubon 87. It will be breezy and humid with a 20% chance for rain. Morning lows will be in the 60s.
