Nice weather will continue. Chilly 40s again overnight with some low 50s in the city. Friday will have partly cloudy skies and milder temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

Wind Advisory continue through tonight for strong winds with gusts to 40 mph. A 30% chance for spotty showers after dark with rain chances increasing after midnight to 90% or likely for a line of thunderstorms to move through. Warm weather continues through Tuesday, but then a front overnight Tuesday/Wednesday morning will cool things down slightly.

Muggy overnight with lows in the mid to upper 60s.

For Tuesday, there will be a Wind Advisory and minor Coastal Flooding from coastal MS to Terrebonne parish including the lakes. Winds from 20-35 mph with a slight chance for a shower and warm Tuesday. Highs in the low 80s.

Spring doesn't begin for another week, but temperatures this afternoon will be in the low 70s with a few more clouds than yesterday.

Warmer for Friday with showers & thunderstorms possible overnight and tomorrow. Upper 70s expected Friday and 80s on Saturday before another slight cool down on Sunday.

An early spring day with highs in the 60s to low 70s. Another chilly night tonight with lows mostly in the 40s with patchy fog possible.

Milder on Thursday with mid 70s and clouds & sunshine. It will be breezy for Thursday also.

After rain this morning, sunshine returned with temperatures in the 60s.

Overnight chilly temperatures with mostly 40s. There may be some patchy fog also.

A mild day on Wednesday with mostly clear skies. Highs around 70. Dry and milder for Thursday with highs in the low to mid 70s.

Rain chance returns on Friday with mid to upper 70s. Saturday's high could be in the low 80s.

A light freeze is expected tonight north of the lake with lows around 32. South of the lake temperatures will fall to the upper 30s in the city and mid 30s away from town with some frost possible. Highs on Sunday should warm to the 60s.

Emphasis is on colder mornings over the weekend. I am downplaying the Flurry action this evening until just after midnight. The ground is too warm for any accumulations, but there may be a few flakes in the air. Wind chills Saturday morning for early voting will be in the 20s with lows in mid 30s on both sides of the lake. Highs in the low to mid 50s with sunshine.

Rain moving back in overnight. May start closer to Midnight. Heavy thunderstorms may be found along the coast and offshore, but there will be a heavy rain threat inland areas as a low pressure area tracks across our area.

Colder air comes back in for Friday and still a light rain/drizzle type afternoon with strong winds. Lows in the 50s and highs may remain in the 50s to near 60.

A Tornado Watch has been extended until 1am for areas south of the lake and MS counties. Strong to severe thunderstorms will move into the area with strong damaging winds, hail, isolated tornadoes, and brief heavy rain. An Urban Flood Advisory is in effect for St Tammany parish until 1am due to heavy rain that could cause street flooding.
