Nice dry stretch of weather Thursday through weekend. Laura Buchte... You may have heard me mentionn on the air a few times that it is best to wait until after Easter to plant. Historically, we can have a freeze as late as the 1st week in April. The latest freeze was April 8th, 1971 at Armstrong Int'l Airport. Now I'm not expecting a freeze on the southshore, but north of the lake will see 30's over the weekend, but on Monday morning there may be frost or even a light freeze in some spots. Temperature... With today's front passing through, you can feel the difference already in the wind, temperatures, and humidity levels. For the next few nights north of the lake, it will be in the 40's and south of the lake in the 50's then 40's. Light jackets and sweaters will need to be taken out again.
