Rain as Expected

Sure enough the rain moved into the area today. Cold air will follow on Sunday. Rain should end over night tonight. Clearing skies expected on Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 40's to low 50's, but there will be a wind chill due to breezy conditions.

A light freeze expected Monday morning north of the lake with upper 20's and south of the lake in the mid 30's with frost. Highs in Monday in the low 50's.

With a SW jet stream over us, we will continue with more clouds than sunshine. Chance for rain on Tuesday will only be 20% with cool 40's for highs.

Rain chances increase on Wednesday with a low pressure area in the Gulf moving east across the Gulf. Our rain chances will increase to 50% on Wednesday with breezy 50's for highs.

Thursday morning rain chances diminish to 40% with some sunshine expected in the afternoon an...

because the muggies and chance for rain will return. Another nice day for Tuesday and Wednesday then moisture starts to return on Thursday. The weekend will be filled with rain chances.

More Rain to Come

After morning fog, skies will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance for isolated showers. Highs will be in the upper 60's to lower 70's.

Another area of low pressure will be moving across the area on Sunday bringing another round of showers or thunderstorms. Sunday's system is not expected to be as strong as Thursday's system. Highs around 70.
