Beautiful Weather Through Much Of The Next 7 Days!

Autumn finally will be taking a stand as we head into November. After a good-looking Halloween, we'll continue with sunshine and dry, mainly sunny, pleasantly mild afternoons with highs reaching back in the 60's and 70's, along with overnights with seasonably chilly lows in the 40's and 50's over the next few days. Finally, the area of high pressure providing the beautiful weather will shift east for the end of the week and into next weekend. This will shift winds a bit more southerly, raise humidity levels just a bit, and provide for a 20%-30% chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Friday and Saturday.

In the tropics, there is a non-tropical area of low pressure that the National Hurricane Center is watching. It only has a 30% chance or less of developing into a hybrid tropical/extratropical system, called a subtropical storm, and is of no real concern to our interests.
