Two water spouts were generated by a strong thunderstorm that passed just south of Slidell and coastal Louisiana/Mississippi this morning, dumping heavy rain, lightning, and hail across the Twin Spans and Highway 11. The storm continued to move toward the west dumping heavy rain across Lake Pontchartrain, luckily it dissipated before moving into the metro area.
