TS Bertha... Chance of Rain Sunday?

The National Hurricane Center continues to reiterate in their discussions that it is much too early to tell whether Bertha will or will not pose a threat to any land areas. The reason for this is twofold. One, if Bertha continues on its westward trek, it may encounter quite a bit of wind shear, which is unfavorable for tropical storms or hurricanes to develop and maintain their strength. Secondly, if Bertha strengthens, it may edge more into a high pressure area to the north, and cut a more northward track.

The chance of rain Sunday remains at 20 percent. We may see one or two more isolated thunderstorms than we saw today, but it doesn't look like we'll see the coverage that we saw in the middle of last week.
