Bertha is still moving northward into the N. Atlantic. A tropical wave in the central Caribbean sea has the potential to develop before it reaches central America. Another tropical disturbance in the eastern Caribbean sea was investigated Wednesday by a Hurricane Hunter and did not find a depression, but a broad circulation. This one too can develop into a depression in the next day or two. Another area just off the west coast of Florida will bring rain to Florida but is too close to land to develop in the Gulf.
