Hurricane Hunters aircraft identified a low level circulation in Dolly this morning... maximum sustained winds are near 45 miles per hour. As of 4pm... coordinates 18.9 N. 85 W, moving to the NW at 14 miles per hour. The storm is expected to strengthen over the Western Caribbean before landfall in the Yucatan Peninsula. The storm is currently forecast to reemerge in the Southwestern Gulf of Mexico before making landfall again in Northern Mexico/Southern Texas, possibly as a hurricane.

Temperatures are above 100 degrees in some SE Louisiana locations this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Expect one more day with mostly sunny skies before tropical moisture makes its return on Tuesday.
