With a less than 10 percent chance of showers in the Sunday forecast, temperatures could warm to the mid 90s across much of the area. No real change in the forecast until Tuesday when a large batch of tropical moisture surges northward, allowind for an increased chance of showers Tuesday through Friday. Bertha is finally weakening... Cristobal is moving toward the Northeast as a tropical storm. A disorganized area of showers and thunderstorms over the central Caribbean Sea could possibly develop into the next tropical depression. Current model forecasts take the "possible" storm toward the Yucatan Peninsula before it moves into the Southwestern Gulf. |
