The approach of a frontal system will give us a better chance of thunderstorms Sunday night into Monday and possibly into Tuesday as well. Depending on how much moisture streams in from the South, we will have thunderstorms fire up throughout the day Monday. Afternoon temperatures will stay in the upper 80s because of the extra cloud cover and the possibility of some rain cooled air. Bertha was downgraded to a tropical storm, but remains on course to pass near the Island of Bermuda. Current coordinates are 30.3N, 63.1W, moving to the Northwest near 2 miles per hour. Maximum sustained winds are 65 miles per hour. |
