Waking up to more sunshine on this Friday morning, the fourth of July. Temperatures will quickly warm to the upper 80s and some lows 90s before thunderstorms begin to pop up across the area once again. Tropical Storm Bertha continues its track toward the central Atlantic ocean. Computer models suggest the storm will near hurricane strength by early Monday morning, when it's expected to start a recurvature toward the northern central Atlantic. These computer models diverge on whether Bertha will strengthen in the next 3 days while making its way into the middle of the Atlantic ocean.
