As of 10pm, Tropical Storm Dolly is located at 19.6N, 85.8W, with maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour. The storm is moving to the NW at 14 miles per hour. Current forecast models project a high pressure system that extends into the Gulf of Mexico to persist through the middle of next week, keeping the storm South and West of Louisiana on a track toward Southern Texas and Northern Mexico.
Meanwhile, SE Louisiana will endure another blistering day with very little rain to cool the air, or cloud cover to keep temperatures at bay. Expect another round of highs in the mid to upper 90s with heat indices in the triple digits.
