A cluster of strong thunderstorms moved through the metro area around lunchtime today, but that area has since moved into the marine waters off the coast of St. Bernard parish. Expect some more thunderstorms to develop on the Northshore, and around coastal Louisiana and Mississippi. Right now the threat for rain across the metro New Orleans area has diminished.
