Thunderstorms continue to develop across the area. Currently, a strong thunderstorms is located in Southern Washington Parish near Enon, Southeast of Franklinton travelling to the East at about 8 miles per hour.

Another thunderstorm is dumping heavy rain across southern Terrebonne Parish. The metro area remains mostly rain free at this hour.

Scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop through the early evening hours, tapering off after dark.
