With a tropical airmass in place this afternoon, the combination of the hot temperatures this afternoon along with high humidity levels will make highs near 90° this afternoon feel more like around 100°. Although this isn't uncommon during the summer, with these types of heat indicies it it advisable to drink plenty of water and delay strenuous activity until the evening or early morning hours.
