Expect some more thunderstorms to develop on the Northshore, and around coastal Louisiana and Mississippi. Right now the threat for rain across the metro New Orleans area has diminished. ...Rainfall amounts of up to 1.80" inches have been reported by a weather watcher in River Ridge. Hail reports from Metairie have abounded from pea to dime size hail. All severe warnings have been dropped at this hour. We're seeing a wet pattern across the Southeast, with rain chances going up each afternoon, and towards the weekend. Today we'll see a 30% chance. Any thunderstorm can produce a quick inch or two and street flooding will be a possibility. By Friday and the weekend, rain chances go up to 50-60%.
