As fair-weather high pressure beats northern cold fronts away, expect some sunshine over the next few days the establishment of a summery pattern. As systems die out off to our north, we'll allow some moisture and some energy into our area. This means an outside chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms this and tomorrow afternoon and another chance of garden variety storms this weekend for Jazz Fest. HIghs each day should approach the low and mid 80's.
