Heavy Rains Pummel the Area

A stationary frontal boundary combined with a rich layer of moisture triggered round after round of rain and thunderstorms Saturday. One of our WeatherBug locations on the westbank recorded 8.32 inches of rain and counting... that frontal boundary will make it's move into the forecast region on Sunday, which could trigger another round of heavy thunderstorms Sunday night. We will be monitoring the situation in the Channel 4 Weather office Sunday.
