Drier... not Cooler Air Moves In

Still a warm day across SE Lousiana, after a cold front moved through the forecast area. The frontal system that passed through yesterday is more often called a dry front as the dewpoint temperature, (which measure the amount of moisture in the air), has dropped, but actual afternoon high temperatures will remain about the same today. The cold air remains trapped to our north. Dewpoints will be in the 40s to low 50s today. Definitely a gorgeous weekend forecast.
