Temperatures soared yesterday to the upper 80s. Today, a strong cold front has moved through the region, and cooler temps will prevail today. Expect afternoon highs in the low 70s. Cooler temps combined with lower amounts of moisture in the atmosphere will also make it feel a lot cooler as well. Sunday, definitely grab a light coat when you're headed out the door. Temperatures will top out in the upper 60s tomorrow, but with a strong northerly breeze, it will feel cooler than 70 when the breeze picks up. Another round of cold air is surging South this April, temperature could dip below freezing Monday night into Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, this could cause big problems for folks who have started planting their Spring gardens. Definitely take the time this sunny weekend to protect tender vegetation. |
