A Tornado Watch has been extended until 1am for areas south of the lake and MS counties. Strong to severe thunderstorms will move into the area with strong damaging winds, hail, isolated tornadoes, and brief heavy rain. An Urban Flood Advisory is in effect for St Tammany parish until 1am due to heavy rain that could cause street flooding.

At 11pm, the line of severe thunderstorms extends from Hancock county to Slidell, to New Orleans to Lafitte to just west of Grand Isle.
