If you feel like Spring Forward is arriving earlier... you're right! Last year, Daylight Saving Time began the second week of March due to the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This is the second year it's started the second Sunday of March instead of the first Sunday in April. Basically, the government decided to extend daylight saving time from March until November. It used to run from April to October. Anyway, the gist of the entire government policy is tonight's the night we have to set our clocks ahead by one hour...
On the weather front... expect another chilly, chilly night.
A light freeze is possible tonight north of the lake with lows around 32. South of the lake temperatures will fall to the upper 30s in the city and mid 30s away from town with some frost possible. Highs on Sunday should warm to the 60s.
