Storm Reports from this Morning...Tornado in Marrero

There were some reports of wind damage around the Southshore this morning, including a tornado near Marrero. Click on our blog for more storm reports.

After some severe weather early this morning, nice weather is to follow.

Clear, breezy, and chilly overnight. Light jackets or sweaters needed when you're off in the morning. Lows in the 40s on both sides of the lake, but it may feel a bit colder with the wind.

Spring begins tomorrow and we will have sunshine and highs in the mid 60s.

Another chilly one Friday morning with lows in the 40s. More sunshine in the afternoon and highs in the low to mid 70s.

More clouds on Saturday with 50s in the morning and mid 70s.

Easter Sunday will see more clouds rolling in during the day with a 20% chance for an afternoon shower. 40s & 50s in the morning and highs in the mid 60s.

...... 1 INJ ...... A TORNADO DAMAGED 13 HOMES. SEVERAL LARGE
HARDWOOD TREES SNAPPED IN HALF HITTING ROOFS AND CRUSHING
A NEARBY CAR. ONE PERSON WAS INJURED WHEN HIT BY A
FALLING PART OF RAFTER. THE TORNADO FOLLOWED AN
INTERMITTENT 3.1 MILE PATH. PATH WIDTH WAS 20 YARDS. THIS
WAS A JOINT DAMAGE SURVEY CONDUCTED WITH THE HELP OF
JEFFERSON PARISH EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT.
