The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for southshore parishes until 7pm tonight. Warm air ahead of a cold front is creating an unstable airmass. A line of thunderstorms currently moving through St. Helena Parish into Tangipahoa Parish and Southern Mississippi has shown a history of producing at least one tornado, locally heavy rainfall and hail.

Tornado Warning for Pike and Walthall Counties in Mississippi until Noon.
