The NOAA P-3 Hurricane Hunter will be at Lakefront Airport on Sunday from 12- 4 p.m. for the public to view - free of charge. Then on Monday, Jan. 21st the NOAA aircraft will be joined by the Air Force Reserve’s 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, known as the Hurricane Hunters of the Air Force Reserve, and their WC-130J aircraft and crew. This will also be at the Lakefront Airport and free and open to the public. Visitors are invited to tour the aircraft and talk with crewmembers about the amazing missions of flying into one of nature’s most dangerous storms.
