Clear & Cold... Quick Warm Up Coming...

Clear, dry skies led overnight temperatures to dip to below freezing in some northshore locations in the overnight hours. With tidal lakes and coastal waters significantly warmer than temperatures, low clouds and patchy dense fog developed this morning across the area.

This will burn off this morning, giving way to mostly clear skies, and warming temperatures. In advance of a frontal system approaching from the west, expect temperatures to warm this afternoon to the mid 60s. Dense sea fog could develop in the overnight hours, with strong winds from the south developing in the overnight hours. Temperatures Tuesday are expected to warm to the mid 70s before a cold front moves through Tuesday night into Wednesday.
