As of 1pm... the tornado watch has been cancelled for all of SE Louisiana and Southern Mississippi... with the exception of Plaquemines parish and coastal waters, that will extend until 6pm.

A line of thunderstorms ahead of a cold front is moving rapidly east. After temperatures soared to the upper 70s (and even an 81 in Houma) this afternoon... they will drop back to the 40s and 50s in the overnight hours... temperatures Saturday will be in the 50s. Slight chance for showers Saturday... then another active weather pattern developing Saturday night into Sunday.
