A line of storms from the MS/LA line south to the Gulf of Mexico is heading into SE LA this afternoon. Look for brief heavy downpours, some lightning, and gusty winds up to about 30 mph. This area of rain will be around until at least rush hour, and then skies will clear up overnight.
