Tonight will be crisp and cold if you are headed out to New Year's events tonight. Make sure you have your heavy coat/gloves/hat as temperatures will be in the 40s, with wind chills in the 30s. Tuesday night/Wednesday morning will bring a hard freeze to the northshore and to areas outside of the city on the southshore. Look for temps in the 20s by Wednesday morning, so be sure to WRAP YOUR PIPES, PROTECT YOUR PLANTS, and BRING THE PETS INDOORS. Around metro New Orleans, we'll be looking at a light freeze, so pipes will probably be okay, just watch for your plants and your pets. |
