Rain coming back to help with the Driest Nov. on Record. Rain chances start to go up Saturday afternoon at 50% for showers. It will be another coolish day. 40s in the morning and only around 60 in the afternoon. An area of low pressure and warm front will be moving towards SE Louisiana on Sunday. Temperatures will warm some as the front passes to our north. 60% chance for morning showers or thunderstorms then 60% in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms on Sunday may be strong (a reminder that Nov. is our second severe weather season). Lows Sunday 50s & 60s while highs will get into low to mid 70s. Rain chance may go up Sunday night Monday morning with the passage of the cold front to 80% for thunderstorms..some which could be strong. It will stay breezy all weekend. See Herbert Saffir Dies |
