We have several storm systems traversing the country over the next several days... but they won't have much of an impact on our area until Friday. A large area of surface high pressure will maintain it's position across the Eastern Seaboard. Since we're on the west side of the high, winds wrapping around the high are bringing moisture back into the region from the Gulf of Mexico. That moisture is bringing in a 20 percent chance of light rain in the next five days, before a front moves through next weekend. There's the possibility of us having a stormy Saturday before the airmass cools once again to more seasonable temperatures. |
