Back to the cooler weather for your Monday forecast as a strong cold front moves through the region. Sunday, we saw rain totals anywhere from 2 to 6 inches. (higher totals in coastal regions) In Buras, strong winds downed power poles around 6pm on Sunday evening. The line of stronger thunderstorms gradually moved East, exiting the region by midnight. Light showers may continue through the night ending by daybreak Monday.
