The 14th named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season has formed in the Caribbean Sea, south of Haiti. The storm is expected to move on a WNW track toward Cuba over the next several days before taking a Northeasterly turn toward the Bahamas and open Atlantic. Because of a strong westerly pattern over the continental United States... the storm is not expected to affect the Gulf Coast. For more information... go to our Hurricane Page. The sunny and windy conditions over SE Lousiana will last through Monday along with unseasonably cool temperatures. Tuesday, the winds will relax allowing for mostly sunny and mild conditions. |
