Tropical Disturbance

This afternoon a couple of weak spins are noticed on satellite images. One off the SW coast of Florida in the eastern Gulf and the other off the coast of Daytona Beach in the Atlantic Ocean.

Computer models are still all over the place due to the lack of a starting point or organized system. The system may start to develop overnight or Thursday morning, then the models will have a starting point to focus on. Interests along the central and eastern Gulf coast will have to watch for the development of this system. Because dry air is in the Gulf, this system may even start off as a sub-tropical system due to dry air getting into the system.

The potential is there for a wet stormy windy Saturday depending on the track. You can stay updated on wwltv.com.
