Dean is located at 15.0N 66.7W or 700 miles E/SE of Jamaica. Top winds are 150 mph, a very dangerous category 4 hurricane. Movement is west at 18 mph. Dean will continue to strengthen as it threatens Jamaica and the Yucatan Penisula. All interest in the central and western Gulf need to continue to monitor Dean.
