Sorry... folks... but as you can tell from the humidity, we have a lot of moisture in the air. This combined with an upper level trough to our south, and a surface low to our north is providing for a 70 percent chance of showers for your Sunday forecast. Some heavy thunderstorms are hitting the northshore around Slidell and Terrebonne parish right now... as of 11:30am. I'll try to give you every couple of hours on the rain and thunderstorms both here... and on I-Weather.
