Good rain chances start today, and linger through mid week. Keep that raincoat or umbrella handy! An upper level low over Texas will move Northeast today, tapping into some good Gulf moisture. Showers and thundershowers will develop through the morning along the coast, and then move inland through the midday hour. Some heavy rain is possible with these showers, and if the showers start training, isolated localized flooding is a possibility. Rain is likely in batches again overnight, and then for your Tuesday as well. Flooding could be more of an issue towards Tuesday/Wednesday as the ground gets saturated. It looks like maybe 1-2 inches possible (with isolated higher amounts) through Wednesday. |
