Warm/Humid... Persistent Winds

Couple things to note this weekend. First, it's a gorgeous holiday weekend with plenty of sunshine. Click on blog for more...

Expect clouds and sunshine, warm and humid conditions to hang around through Monday (Memorial Day) with afternoon highs in the mid 80s and a slight chance for afternoon showers Sunday. Monday... the chance of showers increases to 20 percent. There are some concerns however about persistent easterly winds. With tides running one to two feet above normal, the National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood watch from the SW Pass of the Mississippi River to the Bay of St. Louis... including the following parishes: St. Tammany, Orleans, St. Bernard, Lower Plaquemines, and Hancock County. As far as boaters, small craft is urged to exercise caution.
