Dr. William Gray and Philip Klotzbach have updated their predicted numbers for the 2007 hurricane season today. They are still expecting an above normal season, although the number did not go up from April's predictions. They are anticipating 17 named storms, 9 hurricanes, and 5 intense hurricanes. Incidently, they are not considering Subtropical storm Andrea to be one of those 17 named storms. Since she did not technically become a tropical storm, she will not be added to the list. |
