Looking at the latest satellite imagery... we're starting to see clearing skies to our west. The light to moderate rainfall that fell across the area overnight continues to move across the southern parishes... but some of the northern parishes and the metro area may see some sunshine this afternoon. Temperatures will still be on the chilly side, but winds have calmed down... so the afternoon high of 52 will feel like 52. As of 11am, Pinpoint Doppler is showing a lack of precipitation to our north and west. Coastal parishes will continue to see cloudy skies and light to moderate precipitation through the afternoon. |
